Long-distance relationships tend to be disadvantageous, in general, for obvious reasons. If you don’t live in the same area as the person with whom you are in a relationship, you can’t see your partner as often as you’d like, spend time with him, or generally be with him. You really don’t get to know the person, because the distance can complicate your reality. People portray to be one way and in reality they are just acting.

Any relationship whether it is long distance or right in your back yard, takes WORK…
Let start with the advantages of a long distance relationship.
A. Get more time with friends and family
B. Have more time to work on your goals, career etc.
C. Get to know yourself better as person & since it’s a long distance it allows you to become whole & complete as a person.
Disadvantages of a Long-Distance Relationships.
A. Being alone in time of crisis.
B. Feeling lonely.
C. Lack of physical intimacy.
D. Risk of infidelity.
E. Trust
F. Additional funds going out of the home.
G. There’s always a feeling of disconnect.
Advice
When entering into long distance relationships always keep in mind that you are taking a risk. Think about it this way… do short distance relationships always work? No, people go through many good and bad relationships all the time you have the final discussion, make sure it a good fit. However if you think you love someone who isn’t close, I say go for it! It’s  your choice.
